Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in security or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and observational skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic proficiency in report writing
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
  • Respond to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and property
  • Promote safe work practices
  • Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed
  • Write reports and ensure accuracy of necessary documentation as needed
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
