Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Professional demeanor
- Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement is preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to stay calm and think clearly in high-stress situations
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
- Basic computer skills for logging reports and accessing security systems
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Job Duties
- Patrolling hotel property regularly, including guest floors, back-of-house, parking areas, and perimeter
- Monitoring surveillance systems and responding promptly to alarms or suspicious activity
- Assisting with emergency situations such as evacuations, injuries, or disturbances
- Responding to guest or associate concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Completing detailed reports and incident documentation as needed
- Working closely with hotel leadership to ensure safety procedures are followed
- Assisting with lost-and-found procedures and managing access control to restricted areas
- Providing a visible presence that promotes guest confidence and deters potential incidents
