Job Requirements
- Willing to work in cold temperatures
- complete FBI fingerprint check and confirmed 10-year background check
- no convictions of FAA disqualifying crimes
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- possess written and oral communication skills in English
- ability to work non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
- US citizenship required for certain services
Job Duties
- Inspects airline equipment and checks for any unauthorized items
- screens cargo using equipment and methods designated by the customer according to specifications
- performs aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding per customer specifications
- observes and monitors unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection or validation duties
- performs all other duties as assigned by management
- reports to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager depending on unit size
- activities overseen by Lead or Senior Lead depending on unit size
