Job Requirements

  • Must be a registered security guard with the NY Department of State
  • Completion of FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and 10-year background check
  • No convictions for FAA disqualifying crimes
  • Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Willingness to work in cold temperatures
  • Possess written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to work non-standard hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Inspect airline equipment and check for unauthorized items
  • Screen cargo using designated equipment and methods according to customer specifications
  • Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding as specified by the customer
  • Observe and monitor unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection or validation duties
  • Report to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager depending on unit size
  • Follow directions from Lead or Senior Lead personnel based on unit size
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management
