Job Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license
- Prior security or related experience of 2+ years preferred
- Guard card and CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Service-oriented attitude
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel as needed for training or company events
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- One year or more of experience in a related position
- Knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail
- Team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Conduct routine patrols of entire property ensuring safety of guests and property
- Perform protective and enforcement functions courteously and professionally
- Prepare routine logs and security incident reports
- Escort guests and assist with luggage when needed
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel facilities and services
- Attend emergency training and adhere to safety protocols
- Assist other departments including housekeeping, night audit, and maintenance during absences
