Job Requirements
- New employees required to complete FBI fingerprint check SIDA badge and 10-year background check
- Not have been convicted of any FAA disqualifying crimes
- Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Must be willing to work in cold temperatures
- Ability to work nonstandard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated security mindset with a commitment to safety
- Team spirit with integrity, collaboration, and open communication
- Willingness to innovate and adapt to change
- Experience in aviation security preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Inspect airline equipment and check for unauthorized items
- Screen cargo using designated equipment and methods according to customer specifications
- Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding as specified
- Observe and monitor unit activities and facility surroundings when not conducting inspections
- Execute additional duties as assigned by management
- Report to Operations Supervisor or Manager depending on unit size
- Receive activity oversight from Lead or Senior Lead depending on unit size
