Job Requirements

  • New employees required to complete FBI fingerprint check SIDA badge and 10-year background check
  • Not have been convicted of any FAA disqualifying crimes
  • Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be willing to work in cold temperatures
  • Ability to work nonstandard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possess written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated security mindset with a commitment to safety
  • Team spirit with integrity, collaboration, and open communication
  • Willingness to innovate and adapt to change
  • Experience in aviation security preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Inspect airline equipment and check for unauthorized items
  • Screen cargo using designated equipment and methods according to customer specifications
  • Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding as specified
  • Observe and monitor unit activities and facility surroundings when not conducting inspections
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management
  • Report to Operations Supervisor or Manager depending on unit size
  • Receive activity oversight from Lead or Senior Lead depending on unit size
