Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in security or related field preferred
- good physical condition
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong observation and problem-solving skills
- effective communication abilities
- valid security officer certification if applicable

- basic knowledge of safety and security protocols
- good physical condition to perform patrols and respond quickly
- familiarity with hotel environment and customer service practices
Job Duties
- Conduct patrols and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions
- expedite response to emergency conditions such as fire or safety hazards and threats to life and/or property
- handle undesired conduct and violations of hotel policy as warranted
- adhere to hotel requirements for guest/employee accidents or injuries and in emergency situations
- work with Housekeeping & Engineering teams to ensure property safety guidelines are in place and being followed
- maintain a daily inventory of all keys and electronic devices that will be documented and communicated to applicable managers/directors
- ensure security of guestroom access and hotel building access including limited hours of access for specific entrances
