Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- two years of related experience and/or training
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- proficiency with PDF software
- experience using printer, fax machine, copier, telephone, and adding machine
- high level understanding of internet usage
- ability to use internal and external resources
- strong customer service skills
- professional demeanor
- ability to maintain working relationships with management and staff
- knowledge of city departments and services
- must successfully pass criminal background check

Job Duties
- Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers
- maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees
- serve as the initial point of contact for the Mayor's Office
- provide information and assistance to the public
- answer multiple phone lines and evaluate inquiries
- address questions, complaints, or concerns or direct them to the appropriate person or department
- receive, date stamp, and distribute incoming mail daily
- assist in the preparation and distribution of City Council Meeting packets in digital and print formats
- monitor city hall via video cameras from the Mayor's Office and assist people as needed
- assist in coordinating special events for city hall meetings
- monitor and manage office and hospitality supplies daily
- perform other duties as required or assigned
