Job Requirements

  • high school graduation or equivalent
  • two years of related food service experience or 30 college credit hours plus one year experience
  • ability to provide own transportation
  • completion of required Secondary Food Service Manager training within first year
  • maintain current SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • maintain current Food Protection Manager Certification

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduation or GED
  • two years of institutional, commercial or school district food service experience preparing and serving food or 30 college credit hours in related field with one year of food service experience
  • current SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • current Food Protection Manager Certification such as ServSafe
  • ability to complete training provided by CCSD Food Service Department within first year

Job Duties

  • supervise food preparation and serving activities
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • implement menus meeting nutritional guidelines
  • manage cafeteria staff and schedules
  • maintain food safety certifications
  • monitor inventory and order supplies
  • support training and development of food service staff
