Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience managing a fast-paced, high volume, customer service-oriented business preferably in food service or retail
  • Proven experience in managing financial health of retail operations including but not limited to P&L oversight, driving revenue, and managing costs
  • Ability to recruit, motivate, train and retain a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive, self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Food Manager certification from prior work experience or completed Philz Coffee Food Manager certification within first 30 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Provide frontline leadership to all team members
  • Manage the financial health of the store including P&L oversight
  • Establish and cultivate a culture aligned with Philz's core values
  • Train, develop, and recognize future Philz leaders
  • Maximize financial performance by creating a great work environment
  • Set goals and manage team performance and accountability
  • Partner with recruiters to attract and retain diverse, high-performing talent
