Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant
  • Valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate
  • Ability to communicate verbally
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to perform duties involving standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
  • Commitment to kitchen cleanliness and food safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Must have 2 to 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant
  • Valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, lift, carry, clean kitchen equipment, and maneuver heavy weights up to 50+ lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food for the Food Services department including Commissary and Special Events
  • Assist at stations in the Commissary ensuring a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace
  • Support and follow instructions from First Cooks
  • Properly close, wrap, label, and clean work areas in accordance with Food Services and health department protocols
