Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- food handler’s card maintained or obtained by first workday
- basic math skills including adding, subtracting, and multiplying
- valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- pass company driving test
- able to complete Smith System training
- capable of repetitive motions with hands, wrists, arms, and back
- lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- tolerate working in a production-shared building
- exposure to wheat and other grain dusts
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- holds or able to obtain a valid food handler’s card
- able to perform basic math operations accurately
- professional driving experience preferred
- direct sales delivery experience preferred
- valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- successful completion of company driving test
- ability to complete and apply Smith System driver training
Job Duties
- deliver artisan bakery bread safely and efficiently to restaurants, grocery stores, and neighborhood cafes
- represent the Grand Central Bakery brand with professionalism
- maintain high customer service standards
- operate delivery vehicles according to safety protocols and company driving requirements
- complete delivery documentation accurately
- communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- comply with Smith System driving principles
