Job Requirements
- Candidates must hold SEAT Manager or SEAT Manager Trainee certification
- Minimum two fire seasons experience operating as SEAT Manager or higher
- Experience supervising aerial fire preparation and suppression
- Understanding of airspace conflicts and FAA rules
- Four or more seasons ICS experience
- Two or more years supervising in ICS
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently and overnight
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work outdoors in adverse weather
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Must comply with laws, regulations, and record retention
Job Qualifications
- Two or more fire seasons experience as SEAT Manager or higher
- Successfully supervised aerial wildland fire operations
- Knowledge of airspace conflicts and FAA rules
- Four or more seasons operating in ICS system
- Two or more years supervising in ICS system
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license
- Red Card certification as SEAT Manager or SEAT Manager Trainee
- Supervisory experience with at least two personnel
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of aviation plans and contracts
- Skills in personnel management and training assessment
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of Single Engine Air Tankers and pilots
- Coordinate tactical aircraft missions with dispatch and aerial supervision
- Conduct daily and mission briefings with pilots and personnel
- Serve as aviation liaison with airport management and officials
- Complete all required operational documentation accurately and timely
- Apply aviation safety and risk management systems
- Attend meetings and trainings as required
