Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance from the state
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide basic numbers including money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Ability to talk hear sit stand walk handle feel reach climb balance stoop kneel crouch crawl and lift up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Travel up to 5 percent may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance from the state
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including money calculations
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Skill in parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and other inquiries
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect vehicle revenue when needed
