Job Requirements

  • H-2B visa sponsorship for in-country extension candidates actively working in the US
  • valid U.S. driver’s license or international equivalent
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • minimum six months guest-service experience in high-volume restaurant, resort, or private club
  • positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work at partner project The Hills in East Quogue with transportation provided
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • ability to stay calm and focused during busy times
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • ability to meet physical demands including handling 50+ pound items and working indoors/outdoors in all weather
  • flexible and adaptable to fast-paced work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license or international equivalent in good standing
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • at least six months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club
  • prior valet attendant experience in luxury club or private resort setting preferred
  • proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles
  • driving record that meets the club’s insurance requirements
  • able to sit and/or stand for extended periods and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects
  • desire to work in fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members, guests, and team members
  • meet and greet all arriving/departing members and guests in a timely manner
  • park and retrieve member, guest and customer vehicles or golf carts in specified areas in an efficient and safe manner
  • drive, pick up, or drop off members and VIP guests around the local area, including the airport
  • perform drive and park assignments per department policies/procedures
  • keep parking areas clean and orderly
  • provide member assistance and information such as giving directions, handling baggage, assisting with wheelchairs loading and unloading
  • ensure that members and guests belongings are retrieved and delivered to the proper outlet
  • maintain clean transportation shuttles and company vehicles including basic cleaning services
  • check condition of transport vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment
  • provide deliveries/pickups and run errands as needed
  • prepare and submit reports on passenger trips, ridership, hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • comply with local and public traffic laws and highway safety rules
  • follow written and verbal geographical directions
  • operate light and heavy passenger vans and buses for transport to airports, off-site housing, off-site entertainment/activities
  • monitor and maintain staff transportation schedules
  • attend department meetings and trainings as necessary
  • perform any additional duties as assigned
