Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
At least one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
Ability to perform basic math operations involving money
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Ability to understand applicable rates
Ability to perform parallel parking
Must be able to work a seasonal schedule approximately 20 hours per week Monday through Friday between 6AM and 4:30PM

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of intended work or a commutable distance
One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Effective one-on-one and small group communication skills
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with units of American money
Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
Understanding of rates applicable to time passed
Ability to perform parallel parking
Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is highly desirable

Job Duties

Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using their last names
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Park and retrieve vehicles carefully driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxi services, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about facility amenities and local attractions
Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to approved locations
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
Issue claim checks only after securing vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipts
Calculate and collect revenue as necessary
