Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing, and comprehension
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform safe and cautious driving
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week on a seasonal schedule between Monday and Friday
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and balancing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license applicable to the state of employment
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time formats
  • Ability to understand applicable parking rates
  • Operation of manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Skill in performing parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
  • Greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly manner using their last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks
  • Complete and maintain ticket information and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles if needed
