Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of work or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
  • Understanding of time-based rate calculations
  • Ability to operate manual transmission (highly desirable)
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems

  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use correct phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously while assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries
  • Provide information about local amenities and attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and shuttle guests as approved
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticketing information accurately including damage surveys and key tags
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required
