Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of work or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to perform basic math and understand time systems
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate a manual transmission
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, run, climb stairs and lift up to 100 pounds
  • Open availability for PM shifts
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests and employees
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about the facility and main attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately
  • Calculate and collect revenue when needed
