Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class B CDL with necessary endorsements or willingness to obtain
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for temporary, seasonal employment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate for interstate commerce operation
- Ability to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 pounds
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficiency in English language as per 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2) including reading and speaking abilities
- Ability to undergo background checks and drug screenings
- Willingness to complete required training and obtain endorsements if not currently held
Job Duties
- Deliver fuel locally (home every night) in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain the delivery truck including reviewing maintenance record, performing inspections, and reporting vehicle conditions requiring attention
- Provide superior customer service
- Account for funds and inventory with a user-friendly handheld terminal
- Follow safety protocols and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Complete required delivery documentation accurately
