Job Requirements

  • Must have minimum of three-year food serving experience in high volume full-service environment
  • must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage including wine and food pairing and suggestive selling techniques
  • must pass food and beverage questionnaires
  • excellent grooming and communication skills required
  • must have valid Washington State Class 12 or Class 13 Alcohol Service Permit
  • must have valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit
  • ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism
  • ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift 30 to 50 lbs for entire shift
  • able to lift 35 to 50 lbs over one shoulder using large serving tray

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of food serving experience in a high volume, full-service environment

  • ability to pass food and beverage knowledge questionnaires
  • excellent grooming and communication skills
  • ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • valid Washington State Class 12 or Class 13 Alcohol Service Permit
  • valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit
  • ability to work well in a team-based environment and maintain professional demeanor
  • physical ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift 30 to 50 lbs during entire shift

Job Duties

  • Follow steps of service and timing guidelines
  • maintain proper server etiquette and positive, courteous attitude
  • exhibit complete knowledge of food and beverage offerings
  • engage with guests using merchandising, excellence and proficiency standards
  • complete set-up including section and room detailing prior to opening
  • serve food and beverages at correct temperature with proper presentation
  • ensure guest satisfaction throughout dining experience
  • maintain side work duties and cleanliness during shift
  • water, clear, reset and maintain personal section
  • assist other servers and mixologists when able
  • deliver food and beverages to personal and team member sections
  • have in-depth knowledge of products and recipes including cocktails, spirits and wine
  • provide service recovery as needed
  • complete assigned closing duties
  • check out with manager before clocking out
  • perform other duties assigned by management
