Job Requirements
- Passion for product, brands, fashion and trends
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong communications skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in math
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work 20-40 hours per week including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, sit for long periods, climb ladders
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and lighting
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle customer situations and solve problems effectively
- Knowledge of current fashion trends
- Commitment to teamwork and company values
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and processes quickly
- Basic math proficiency and computer literacy
- Experience with digital sales tools is a plus
Job Duties
- Delivers an engaging, positive and authentic customer experience with all customers
- Focuses on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions
- Handles customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempts to solve for yes and partners with leadership when dealing with escalated issues
- Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Executes all visual directives and maintains visual standards set by the company and as directed by management
- Supports high standards of organization and cleanliness, promoting safe working and shopping environment
- Upholds and complies with all company policies including Safety Program and Loss Prevention
- Shares feedback from customers with leadership to improve overall customer experience
- Participates in company and store contests and events
- Stays current on financial goals and supports leadership in achieving sales and operational goals
- Supports and executes digital sales strategies including ship from store and BOPIS
- Reflects the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion and trends
- Contributes positively to the work environment by exhibiting core value behaviors
- Maintains and drives company’s fashion image by adhering to appearance guidelines
- Demonstrates initiative to learn about product, brands, fashion, and trends
- Strives to improve individual performance while working as a productive team member
