Job Requirements
- Able to frequently operate cash register
- Able to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
- Able to ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
- Able to frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
- Able to frequently communicate and exchange information accurately
- Able to move across the sales floor and stockroom efficiently
- Able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and possible overnight shifts and travel
- Able to identify and follow printed and emailed instructions
- Able to remain stationary and upright for 80 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- Good communicator with ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and issues courteously and professionally
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers promptly
- Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge and answering questions
- Promote store events and promotions to enhance shopping experience
- Resolve customer concerns courteously and professionally
- Communicate merchandise restocking and feedback to management
