Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate cash register frequently
- Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders to reach merchandise at heights of 5 to 10 feet
- Able to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop frequently
- Able to remain in a stationary, upright position for approximately 80 percent of the time
- Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and by telephone
- Flexible schedule availability to meet business needs
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possible overnight shifts
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices
- Good communicator with customer engagement skills
- Ability to handle customer interactions and solve problems courteously
- Capable of learning procedural knowledge through on-the-job training
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers promptly
- Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge and offering recommendations
- Promote store events and promotions to enhance shopping experience
- Resolve customer concerns with professional and courteous service
- Communicate needs and feedback to management regularly
- Collaborate with team to achieve store and company goals
- Operate cash register and handle merchandise stocking and retrieval
