Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days evenings weekends and holidays
- Must have regular dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers coworkers and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules procedures in English
- Capability to meet daily sales goal challenges
- Willingness to engage with and learn about customers
- Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to operate electronic devices including cash registers
- Physical capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform stooping kneeling crouching climbing ladders and reaching including above eye level
- Must have close vision color vision depth perception and focus adjustment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or customer service experience is an advantage
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point of sale systems
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and adapt
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers with warmth and enthusiasm
- Understand customer needs and provide personalized product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor
- Merchandize new receipts and process returned merchandise
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program benefits and complete sales transactions
- Support team members through honest and collaborative communication
- Strive to meet and exceed daily sales goals
