- frequent use of computers and handheld equipment for register transactions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- basic proficiency with electronic devices and cash register operations
- comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
- ability to read and understand English employment policies and safety procedures
Job Duties
- greet customers warmly and engage in personal conversations to build relationships
- understand and meet customers' needs with personalized product recommendations
- maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor environment
- merchandise new arrivals, update pricing and signage, and process merchandise returns
- support team members with collaboration and honest communication
- achieve daily sales goals through focused customer engagement and smart selling
- complete transactions efficiently and ensure customers leave satisfied
