Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English
- Physically able to talk, lift at least 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Visual acuity including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Proficient in using computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet daily sales goals
- Comfortable using electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic understanding of retail merchandising and inventory processes
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor
- Review and stay informed about daily sales goals, new arrivals, and promotions
- Merchandise new receipts and process damaged or returned items
- Update signs and pricing and assist in merchandise moves
- Share loyalty program benefits and ensure customers have all they need at checkout
- Collaborate with team members to support a positive work environment and achieve sales targets
