Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
Accountability initiative and a high level of ownership
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

Clear communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred but not required
Basic proficiency in store technologies and point of sale systems
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Positive attitude and customer service orientation

Job Duties

Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as our Nordstrom Rewards program
Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes making sure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through remerchandising and straightening throughout the day
Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
