Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
- Capability to bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach frequently
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- For stock and fulfillment roles, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours according to business needs

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with various transactions across platforms including in-store, online, and mobile
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle merchandise of different sizes and weights
- Provide a smooth and welcoming fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers
- Keep the store clean and organized by sorting and returning merchandise to the sales floor and stockrooms
- Maintain organized stockrooms and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in store technologies and adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
- Promote programs such as Nordstrom Rewards
- Receive, unload, unpack, and distribute merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards
- Prepare and ship orders meeting packing and shipping criteria
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process merchandise in accordance with store controls
- Support general store activities including special events, markdowns, and fixture relocation
