Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items including lifting items up to 25 pounds
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening
Assist customers during cashiering with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms
Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting returned clothing
Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
