Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and follow employment policies and safety procedures
- Physical ability to stand for at least two hours and lift at least 25 pounds
- Capable of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Good vision including color perception and focus adjustment
- Comfortable using computers and retail technology
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with technology including cash registers and handheld devices
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Job Duties
- Greet customers with genuine hospitality and assist them with buy online pickup in store (BOPS)
- Handle merchandise returns and order pickups efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized service area to provide a welcoming environment
- Use retail systems proficiently to complete customer transactions
- Promote Macy's loyalty program and assist customers with credit account openings
- Support team dynamics with honesty, care, and collaboration
- Achieve daily sales goals and contribute to store performance
