Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and comprehend employment policies and safety procedures
- Capable of making prompt, sound decisions to resolve customer issues
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- Ability to meet daily sales goals
- Responsible for opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs
- Ability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and cash register systems
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Positive attitude and customer-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide genuine hospitality
- Support Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS) activities including order pickups and curbside delivery
- Handle merchandise returns and process transactions efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized, and inviting service areas
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program and assist customers with account openings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store fulfillment
- Strive to meet daily sales goals and deliver excellent customer service
