Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekdays based on weather and attendance
- Physical ability to move objects up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Experience or willingness to learn food service supervisory practices
- Ability to manage cash and maintain inventory controls
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- Must obtain NYC Food Handlers Certificate within first 45 days if not already certified

- Ability to delegate and assign tasks in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
Job Duties
- Assist in the training of staff members including customer service, equipment handling, routine cleanliness and maintenance, daily production logs, and WCS policies and procedures
- Communicate daily break schedules to staff members and cover open positions when necessary
- Ensure safety protocols are met at all times
- Supervise the daily operation of assigned locations and staff to achieve sales targets
- Resolve customer complaints timely and accurately
- Reinforce selling skills training to increase average transaction spending
- Maintain cash and inventory controls in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
- Ensure food presentation areas are fully stocked, organized, exciting, and visually appealing
- Maintain neat, clean, organized, and safe work locations
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local labor laws and standards for food preparation, presentation, sanitation, and storage
- Enforce WCS provided portion sizes for all products sold and reduce waste and shrinkage
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all staff
- Maintain general knowledge of park attractions and amenities to enhance customer service
- Follow all WCS rules and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of reports as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure daily logs are properly filled out and filed away
