Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Chef in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
  • management experience is required
  • effective planning and administrative skills, with experience in budget management
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Serve Safe Certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to foster positive relationships with guests and staff
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • fluency in English

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures as well as company policies
  • store food and equipment properly
  • collaborate with the Director of Culinary to develop menus and test new recipes
  • supervise daily operations of the restaurant kitchen
  • assist in training kitchen staff on food handling and sanitation
  • manage kitchen staff and support the Culinary Management team when required
  • handle kitchen opening and closing duties, including creating prep and cleaning lists
  • manage food preparation, inventory control, and procurement processes
  • conduct training sessions as directed by management
  • other duties as assigned
