Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- Less than 1 year retail experience performing sales and customer service tasks
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as carrying and loading merchandise
- Capability to operate store equipment safely
- Willingness to adhere to store policies and safety regulations.
Job Qualifications
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- Less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks like identifying and selling products, explaining warranties and product features, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving issues, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law.
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
- Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- Listen and respond promptly and knowledgeably to customer and associate questions, guiding them through projects when necessary
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicate information regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe's programs
- Write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs
- Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to deliver optimal customer service
- Detect and report signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks to management or Asset Protection
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and maintain cleanliness and organization of store and work areas
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety checks, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates
- Adhere to safety requirements relevant to job duties
- Operate store equipment as needed depending on role and department.
