Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of retail experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use smartphones and tablets
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Legal authorization to work in the country
- Ability to obtain necessary licensure or registration
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year experience using retail technology like smartphones and tablets
- Less than 1 year retail experience performing tasks including product identification and sales, explaining warranties, assisting customers, building relationships, resolving issues, zone recovery, and housekeeping
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to cross-functional roles
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's policies and procedures
- Seek out customers to understand needs and assist with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, or loading merchandise
- Respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and associate questions by guiding them through projects
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicate information about stock, special orders, benefits, applications, and warranty programs
- Write contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs
- Cross-functionally train in other store areas to enhance service delivery
- Detect and report shoplifting, theft, and security risks
- Maintain housekeeping standards and store cleanliness
- Ensure safe and secure work environment by conducting safety reviews and noting hazards
- Adhere to all relevant safety requirements
- Operate store equipment such as Zebra phone, paging system, copiers, CCTV, key cutter, paint mixer, and more
