Job Requirements

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • Fast-paced movements are required to go from one part of the restaurant to another
  • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds
  • Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
  • Must be able to use step ladder
  • ServSafe Food Handlers Certification
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training with Certification

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced and professional environment
  • Previous experience as bartender, lead bartender or server/bartender in a high-volume craft cocktail forward establishment
  • Proven success of champion of the culture, facilitating excellent communication and engagement
  • Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
  • Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive

Job Duties

  • Set up the mise en place for the featured cocktails
  • Ensure the bar is stocked up
  • Inform the manager when items run low
  • Promptly greet guests as they are seated at the pool or bar
  • Clear bar area after guests leave, take tableware to the dish room, and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
  • Respond immediately and appropriately to guest requests
  • Communicate with server and host to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and guest service
  • Thank guests as they are leaving
  • Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation
  • Be a team player
  • help out fellow staff whenever possible
  • Fill up other Bar roles as needed including pool and Lobby Bars
