Job Duties
- Serve beverages andor food to guests in a friendly courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction
- prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests and act as cashier for the lounge
- greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
- mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce
- maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
- receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys
- lock up and store all beverages, food and equipment items and secure bank
- answer bar phone within three rings and take room service orders correctly and courteously
- input orders into register at point of sale and create checks for each guest and personnel guests
- perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security procedures and rules
- know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor
- maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- perform any related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
- assist other beverage personnel when needed
