Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Positive, enthusiastic, and friendly
- Solution oriented with desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable around technology
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Work a schedule that will include weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to work
- Be able to coordinate with off-site direct manager, and indirect manager on site
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous technical or IT support experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use a work ticket management system
- Basic knowledge of Windows Client/Server LAN environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Customer service orientation
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to document solutions effectively
Job Duties
- Prioritize and ensure personal, coworker and guest safety in all aspects of your work
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Engage in company trainings and initiatives to support safety
- Provide tier one review and support of software/application issues, escalating as appropriate
- Use the work ticket management system to manage start-to-finish workflow for support tickets in alignment with company metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Support the deployment, relocation, and re-installation of Vail Resorts approved IT equipment in offices, outlets, special event sites, etc.
- Provide exceptional guest service supporting users and collaborating with coworkers, ensuring the Experience of a Lifetime
- Provide support for resort and remote-location sales points and peripherals
- Provide end-user support of Vail Resorts IT managed technology, including workstations, peripherals, printers, telephones, time clocks, etc.
- Configure, track, maintain and properly dispose of Vail Resort IT managed technology, including workstations, point of sale systems, hand-held devices, peripherals, etc.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, as assigned
- Strive for continual improvement and growth by actively participating in company and regional specific training, as well as corporate SOPs
- Suggest and support implementation of new ideas for improving user support and the guest experience
- Follow and ensure that all users are following IT-related company procedures, guidelines and policies
- Perform tasks with integrity by always doing the right thing
