Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying kitchen conditions
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures and standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare bakery items according to company policies and standards
  • Label and date all trays of baked items
  • Ensure proper food storage and safety procedures
  • Set up and maintain bakery display cases using proper merchandising techniques
  • Follow sanitation procedures for kitchen, storage, and bakery equipment
  • Control food costs and ensure accurate portioning of products
  • Communicate with management and team members about product, service, equipment and safety issues
