Job Requirements
- Ability to stay on your feet while working
- Ability to be dependable, flexible, and reliable
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull 25 - 35 lbs
- Occasionally carry up to 50 lbs
- Occasionally push or pull up to 150 lbs using a pallet jack or gaylords
- Ability to work in the heat and the cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season
- Gloves and work boots are recommended
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in warehouse or package handling roles is advantageous but not required
- Ability to stand and be active for entire shifts
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull varying weights regularly
- Familiarity with safety standards in warehouse environments advantageous
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts and adapt to schedule changes
Job Duties
- Be safe by following all safety guidelines and protocols
- Unload trailers and sort packages by zip codes
- Load trucks for deliveries efficiently
- Work collaboratively as a team player to ensure all tasks are completed
- Handle packages with care to maintain package integrity
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely
- Adapt to changing work schedules and seasonal temperature variations
