Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle tools
- Must have tolerance for working in smoking areas
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs when necessary
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old for grounds maintenance roles
- Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen
- Required to maintain established performance levels
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision when required
- Must be able to work in a diverse team environment
- Must be hardworking, dependable, and dedicated
- Previous maintenance or grounds experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide guests with exceptional service
- Remove litter from all areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, floors, and mirrors
- Sweep walkways, decks, and paved areas
- Maintain pedestrian areas including cleaning benches and tables and moving tubes and tables
- Empty trash cans and ashtrays
- Clean up park spills including bodily spills
- Water and maintain grass, flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Operate lawn mowers, gas-powered trimmers, and hand tools
- Clean, sweep, wash, lift tables, and move heavy objects
- Identify and control weeds, ants, and other undesirables
- Monitor grounds for overgrowth, dead plant material, debris, or trash
- Remove, install, repair thatched roofing using palm leaves
- Maintain high standards of safety in the workplace
- Assist with various tasks assigned by maintenance management
- Perform any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by landscaping supervisors
