Job Duties

  • Assist Center Director with completion and processing of bell ringer hire paperwork
  • daily review of assigned kettle route and bell ringer supplies
  • transportation of bell ringers to their assigned location
  • clock in and out bell ringers and record times
  • supervise bell ringers and volunteers ensuring proper representation
  • provide instructions and guidance to bell ringers
  • provide coverage to unmanned kettles as directed
  • assist with counting daily kettle income
  • take daily kettle deposits to bank
  • data entry of daily kettle totals
  • retrieve bell ringers, buckets, aprons, and bells nightly and ensure proper storage
  • ensure kettle slips are complete and signed
  • report accidents and incidents to Center Director
  • adhere to employee dress codes
  • assist with Angel Tree deliveries and setup
  • check locations for toy pick up and additional tags
  • sort and bag toys
  • supervise volunteers during Angel Tree
  • fill in on Distribution Day as needed
  • maintain knowledge of TSA services and local social services
  • interface with county/state agencies
  • manage Advisory Board and attend meetings
  • oversee daily operations of Service Center
  • interview and supervise volunteers
  • submit monthly reports and invoices
  • manage service center’s budget and grants
  • seek additional funding sources and write grants
  • represent TSA in community organizations
  • provide case management and client assistance
  • maintain accurate client records
  • prepare paperwork and vouchers for payments
  • perform other duties as assigned
