Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work flexible, non-standard hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Capability to operate light groundskeeping equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- Availability from March to January for seasonal work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event setup or catering preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate light groundskeeping and cleaning equipment
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist with set up, break down, service, cleaning and preparation of events to meet WCS standards
- Provide leadership and supervision to porter staff
- Coordinate gathering, transporting, setting up, breaking down, and storing event equipment
- Ensure pull sheet orders are complete and equipment is ready for events
- Load supplies safely into vehicles and transport to event locations
- Set up equipment including tables, chairs, dance floor, linens, food service equipment, china, and glassware
- Assist in bussing, food running, and clearing during events
- Oversee the Sanit area during larger events
- Supervise dish room operations and trash removal
- Inspect and supervise cleaning and sanitation of event spaces, kitchen, restrooms, storage areas, carts
- Wash, sanitize and store tableware, catering equipment and silverware
- Operate lightweight groundskeeping equipment
- Perform deep cleaning of equipment, walls, floors, vents, ceilings, vehicles
- Assist inventorying, cleaning and organizing equipment
- Ensure proper storage and organization of tables, chairs, rental equipment
- Receive and store incoming deliveries
- Maintain work and storage areas for safety and sanitation compliance
- Inspect function areas post-event
- Communicate facility status and set-up staff performance
- Follow safe storage, service and sanitation practices
- Drive company motor vehicle within event areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
