Located in beautiful Newport Beach, CA, this warm and dynamic family is seeking a nurturing and experienced full-time nanny to join their household from mid-November through February 1st, with the opportunity to return seasonally each year if it proves to be a great fit. The family is comprised of two energetic boys, ages two and five, who require a caregiver that understands the balance of activity, developmental support, and fun. Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience or relevant educational background
- current first-aid and cpr certification
- ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
- pass background checks including live-scan and trustline registration if a CA resident
- non-smoker
- clean driving record
- willingness to sign no-cell phone driving guarantee
- eligible to work in the u.s.
- willingness to complete stop the silence training
- competent swimmer if required
Job Qualifications
- Ba/bs college degree or aa in related field of study or minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience
- 5+ years of childcare experience in any field
- up to date first-aid and cpr certification with willingness to renew as needed
- excellent work and personal references
- driver’s license (not required for NYC residents)
- competent swimmer
- non-smoker
- eligible to work in the u.s.
- willingness to complete stop the silence training upon membership
Job Duties
- Provide hands-on care for two young children
- plan and lead age-appropriate activities and active play
- support early learning and school readiness
- prepare healthy meals and snacks
- manage children’s laundry
- maintain tidy and organized play and living spaces
- run light errands as needed
- transport children safely to school and activities
