Job Description

Located in beautiful Newport Beach, CA, this warm and dynamic family is seeking a nurturing and experienced full-time nanny to join their household from mid-November through February 1st, with the opportunity to return seasonally each year if it proves to be a great fit. The family is comprised of two energetic boys, ages two and five, who require a caregiver that understands the balance of activity, developmental support, and fun. Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience or relevant educational background
  • current first-aid and cpr certification
  • ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
  • pass background checks including live-scan and trustline registration if a CA resident
  • non-smoker
  • clean driving record
  • willingness to sign no-cell phone driving guarantee
  • eligible to work in the u.s.
  • willingness to complete stop the silence training
  • competent swimmer if required

Job Qualifications

  • Ba/bs college degree or aa in related field of study or minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience
  • 5+ years of childcare experience in any field
  • up to date first-aid and cpr certification with willingness to renew as needed
  • excellent work and personal references
  • driver’s license (not required for NYC residents)
  • competent swimmer
  • non-smoker
  • eligible to work in the u.s.
  • willingness to complete stop the silence training upon membership

Job Duties

  • Provide hands-on care for two young children
  • plan and lead age-appropriate activities and active play
  • support early learning and school readiness
  • prepare healthy meals and snacks
  • manage children’s laundry
  • maintain tidy and organized play and living spaces
  • run light errands as needed
  • transport children safely to school and activities
