Job Requirements
- Dependable with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of TSA background check per TSA Part 1542
- Willingness to undergo federally mandated drug screening if holding a CDL
- Availability for flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays during snow events
- Ability to safely operate or willingness to train on specialized airport maintenance equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or equipment operation preferred
- Familiarity with basic airport operations advantageous
- Ability to learn and safely operate specialized snow removal and maintenance equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours
Job Duties
- Operate specialized equipment
- Work alongside a dedicated team focused on ensuring operational readiness of Maine's largest airport
- Operate equipment on runways and taxiways
- Collaborate on projects with other airport divisions
- Perform general maintenance of airfield and terminal buildings
- Conduct snow removal with specialized equipment
- Comply with safety and regulatory standards
