Job Requirements

  • food safety certification
  • alcoholic beverage certification
  • some food preparation and/or food service experience
  • ability to prepare and/or serve food and beverages
  • knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • ability to perform required role during emergency situations
  • ability to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
  • ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in hot, humid and noisy environment

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge and ability to perform required role during emergency situations
  • skill in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

Job Duties

  • provide food and beverage service according to the club’s standards
  • maintain cleanliness of production and service equipment and of production, storeroom, service and other areas
  • ensure foods are held at safe storage temperatures
  • prep food during off-peak periods as needed
  • requisition supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom when needed
  • comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws and requirements
  • consistently comply with the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests
  • suggest menu additions based on member and guest requests
  • complete other appropriate assignments requested by the Executive Chef
