Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior culinary experience
- Must adhere to Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary experience
- Strong knowledge of proper food service including products, supplies and equipment
- Knowledge and adherence to all state laws pertaining to food safety
- Compliance with Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations
- Ability to work effectively with all personality types
- Ability to understand and carry-out verbal and written instructions independently
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, morning, and nights
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures including inside and outside areas
- Ability to perform light physical tasks exerting up to 25 lbs of force frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally independently or with help
- Ability to perform grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carrying
Job Duties
- Prepare food items for any and all food outlets according to designated menus/recipes
- Set up assigned station with predetermined mise en place to ready station for service
- Prepare food items for members/guests as requested using quality predetermined method in a timely/consistent manner
- Cook all food according to recipes, quality/presentation standards and food preparation check lists
- Always demonstrate safe/proper use of all equipment
- Reduce kitchen waste
- Consult Sous Chef daily on Restaurant outlet service
- Understand/implement basic culinary tasks/procedures such as first-in/first-out, labeling, sanitation
- Monitor all food quality/presentation while preparing food
- Stock/rotate food
- Alert Sous Chef of low inventory items
- Work line, salad station, prep station, and any other stations as needed
- Control pace of food orders/set tone for ticket flowing process
- Test foods to determine if cooked sufficiently
- Operate, maintain, properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, oven, steam table, flat top grill etc
- Advise in preparation of ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, storing food
- Label, date, store, rotate all products while maintaining assigned stock levels
- Control food items requested, maintain without over production
- Demonstrate proper-efficient production of food items to achieve maximum productivity
- Assist in set up/break down of work stations
- Check to ensure correctness of temperatures of appliances/food
- Follow all company safety and security policies/procedures
- Prepare cold food items adhering to refile file
- Monitor taste/visual appearance
- Cut and trim bone meats and poultry
- Proficiently perform duties involving food preparation/cold entree lines as required
- Ensure all amenities are in order and ready to be presented to our members and their guests
- Prepare bar area for services to include proper chair and table placement, stock bar adequately, begin service at posted times
- Complete all opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly side work
- Adhere to Gozzer Ranch uniform and appearance standards
- Assist co-workers with disposal and re-stocking inventory
- Wash all glasses or dishes as required
- Always maintain bar cleanliness during hours of operations
- Keep bar areas organized and un-cluttered
- During special functions, the bartender will help the bar manager with on location bar setup and provide service as needed
- Immediately communicate safety and maintenance concerns to your immediate supervisor and request a follow up is conducted
- Maintains a clean and well-groomed appearance in compliance with departmental and company dress code standards
