Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and team lift up to 60 pounds
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work seasonal hours based on event schedules
- Good presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness
- Strong organizational skills and fast, efficient work habits
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Experience in kitchen food preparation preferred
- Excellent knife skills
- Ability to communicate in English
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances
- Positive attitude and kitchen professionalism
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Follow the provided daily prep lists to execute all food preparation including making sauces, cooking and prepping food items
- Set up workstations and ingredients according to recipes
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards including proper handling and storage
- Follow proper food handling techniques such as time and temperature control and raw item segregation
- Ensure kitchen safety by following safety procedures and reporting hazards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely food preparation
- Work at offsite events performing cooking and plating tasks while maintaining safety standards
