Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Basic math skills with money
- Ability to follow instructions and present information
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds and working outdoors
- Availability to work AM, PM, overnight shifts, and weekends
- Ability to drive cautiously and safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Basic math skills with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division involving American currency
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names and salutation of the day
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and information about amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
