Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Basic math skills with money
  • Ability to follow instructions and present information
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds and working outdoors
  • Availability to work AM, PM, overnight shifts, and weekends
  • Ability to drive cautiously and safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Basic math skills with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division involving American currency
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names and salutation of the day
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and information about amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
